Our Family
 | Lynn Owner/Operator, Pet Care ServicesLynn was raised in Brunswick, Maine and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, NH. As a child and young adult she was surrounded
by cats, dogs and ducks as well as rescued wild birds and raccoons. She started
volunteering as a young child with her mom at the Coastal Humane Society in
Brunswick and it was there that she gained her first experiences walking and
handling dogs. While she lived in Maryland she volunteered for the SPCA in Annapolis and continued to walk dogs
and also socialized cats. Currently she fosters surrendered, abused, abandoned and feral cats in her home for Safe Haven Humane Society. She also volunteers her time doing home visits with potential adopters for MAGRR (Memphis Area Golden Retriever Rescue), the group she adopted her dog Piper from! Read More »
For Lynn, it is very fulfilling being an extended part of your pet's
balanced life. It gives her great pleasure to walk dogs; to give them the fresh
air, exercise, play and enrichment they live for! She also has a special
connection with cats and enjoys their company and caring for them. Lynn has
always loved the positive and peaceful nature of animals and is completely
intrigued with their unique traits and spirits.
Lynn is a member and insured through Pet
Sitter's Associates, LLC. Other professional memberships include the ASPCA, the Coastal Humane Society and Professional United Pet Sitters. She also attends
dog training and behavior classes as often as she can to
continually expand her knowledge of animals. She is Pet First Aid Certified by
the Red Cross.
Lynn shares her life with her husband and their daughter as well as two dogs, Piper (an energetic & comedic girl) & Kiba (a sweet, pensive boy). They also have (a lot) of cats who are all incredibly different and very much loved.
Lynn's love for animals touches all areas of her life. She is grateful to
spend every day working alongside her client's pets. Lynn has a natural gift,
understanding and patience with animals and welcomes your pet, with an open
heart, to the LABS family! |
 | Aurora Office Assistant, Pet Care Services
Aurora
was raised in both Ithaca, NY and Candia, NH and was surrounded by so
many animals! Both of Aurora's parents are veterinarians so they have
had dogs, cats, guinea pigs, bunnies, chinchillas…a lot of pets! She
currently has one cat (pictured here with her!). He's a big, black and
white short-hair she adopted from an animal shelter her mom worked at.
His name is Roswell, and he's her number one pal! She doesn't know what
she'd do without him; he makes her laugh out loud single day. Aurora has
been a lifelong animal lover and always enjoys meeting new furry
friends! She's also excited to go on walks and adventures with
"surrogate" dogs, since she's not able to have one of her own right
now. Read More »
Aurora is a freelance writer and
editor currently working on her first novel. Besides befriending pets,
she enjoys books, ice skating, horseback riding, drawing, fashion and
watching scary movies. Aurora truly loves all animals and will be sure
to offer every pet the care and attention they deserve while their
parents are away!

 | Sarah Pet Care ServicesI come from the hamlet of Bryant
Pond, Maine. My grandparents, who lived just down the street, owned and
operated the last hand crank telephone system in North America. It ran from
their living room until 1983, when I was six. My mother worked as an
operator and my younger sister and I were often in tow. While she
answered calls, we were supervised by my grandparents' gentle and
loving bulldog, Beauty. Read More »
I studied psychology at the
University of Maine at Farmington. After college, I volunteered with
AmeriCorps for a year in Boston, then moved to Minneapolis and worked at
the University of Minnesota for four years before ultimately returning to
Portland. It was then that I met my husband and wonderful stepdaughters.
I worked for several years as a nursing assistant at Maine Medical Center
and I am now pursuing midwifery. I am an avid reader and lover of music.
We have a pit bull named Prinnie,
who is almost 15 and is truly my shadow. She is a beloved member of our
family and has always been terrific with the kids. She was my husband's
dog before we met, but somehow over the years, she and I have become inseparable.
We spend a lot of time enjoying the Portland Trails together.
My parents are both cat lovers,
and I cannot remember a time in my childhood without cats. I am a
lifelong animal lover and have true compassion for all animals. I enjoy
being active outside, and I am thrilled about the opportunity to combine two
livelihoods!

Keith Pet Care ServicesI grew up in Falmouth, Maine until I was 8 and then my family moved to Arkansas until I was 17. We moved back to Maine and have been here ever since. I went to Lake Region High School and then on to Thomas College where I received a Marketing Management degree in 1992. My family always had cats or dogs when I was growing up and they were my best friends since I was the only kid in the household. Read More »
I currently have two cats, Jordan who was adopted from the Westbrook Animal Shelter and Mojo who I have had since he was a kitten. Being a pet sitter seemed like a no-brainer to me since I love animals and being outside. I understand how important it is to know your animals are being well taken care of and want LABS clients to have the peace of mind knowing they are in good hands while they are away.
I am currently employed at Hannaford Brothers corporate office as a Logistics Analyst. In my free time I enjoy riding my motorcycle, fishing, projects around the house and going out with friends. I also own two chickens that I free-range in my back yard. If you have ever thought about owning chickens but had questions, please ask away. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have and also share some good sources of info. |
